A straight column in pale ash, flat across the top, with one band of knurled steel at the neck. No crown, no turned rings, no badge. It is meant to look like a tool rather than an ornament, and to disappear next to whatever else is on the table.
The 21cm body is the one most people want: tall enough to grip near the top and turn with one hand, short enough to leave on the counter. If you cook at the stove more than you season at the table, the 28cm keeps your knuckles further from the pan.
