These terms govern your use of pexalori.com and any order you place through it. The site is operated by ATOXFORD LIMITED, a company registered in Hong Kong, whose registered office is Flat/Rm 1702, 17/F, Easey Commercial Building, 253-261 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong, trading as Pexalori ("we", "us", "our"). By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to place an order. By ordering you confirm that the payment method you use is your own or that you have permission to use it.

2. Products and descriptions

We design and sell salt and pepper mills under our own name. We describe each product as accurately as we can, including its dimensions, materials, weight and the type of grinding burr fitted. Wood is a natural material: grain, figure and colour vary between pieces, and two mills in the same finish will not be identical. Photographs are representative rather than exact, and colour reproduction varies between screens. These variations are not faults.

All mills are supplied empty. Nothing on this site is a claim of affiliation with, endorsement by, or licence from any other manufacturer or brand.

3. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we have received your order; it does not by itself accept it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch the goods and send you a dispatch notice. Until then we may decline or cancel an order, for example where an item is out of stock, where a price or description was published in error, where we cannot verify the payment or delivery details, or where we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund it in full.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any import duty, customs charge or sales tax applied outside the United States, which are your responsibility and are collected by the carrier or customs authority, not by us. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already accepted. Payment is taken through our payment processor; we do not receive or store full card details. Where a price is obviously wrong — a decimal in the wrong place, say — we are not required to supply the goods at that price and will tell you before doing anything else.

5. Delivery

Delivery timescales and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery estimates are estimates and not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns, refunds and warranty

Our Return and Refund Policy forms part of these terms and sets out your right to return goods, how refunds are made, and the two-year warranty on the grinding mechanism. Nothing in these terms limits any statutory right you have as a consumer.

7. Using the site

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, scrape or harvest data from it by automated means, place orders you do not intend to pay for, or use it in a way that could damage or overload it. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe any of this is happening.

8. Accounts

If you create an account you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.

9. Intellectual property

The Column range designs, the product photography, the text on this site and the Pexalori name and marks belong to us or are used by us with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use any of it commercially without our written consent. You may of course share links to the site.

10. Your content

If you send us a review, photograph or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it in connection with our business, and you confirm it is yours to give and that it is not unlawful or offensive. We may remove any submitted content at our discretion.

11. Availability of the site

We try to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice, including discontinuing a product or a finish.

12. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from your misuse of a product, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Our products are for domestic food preparation. Use them as described in the product information and in our Care & Materials guidance. Grinding materials the mill was not designed for, or dismantling the mechanism, is at your own risk.

13. Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by something beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, customs delay, industrial action, extreme weather, failure of public networks, or acts of government. If such an event occurs we will contact you and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel the order for a full refund.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order is the version that applies to it. The current version is always on this page with the date it was last updated.

15. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in the country where you live.

16. General

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continue in force. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return and Refund Policy, are the whole agreement between us about their subject matter.
